Biography

Allona S. Murry earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of South Alabama. She holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Southern Mississippi. She also has entrepreneurial and managerial experience in the public and private sector in accounting.

Her research interests include personality, leadership, voice, psychological safety, social workplace courage, and performance. She has published in the Testing, Psychometrics, Methodology in Applied Psychology journal.  She is active in the Southern Management Association.

Dr. Murry is an Instructional Assistant Professor of Management, where she specializes in human resource (HR) and organizational behavior (OB) management. Her teaching assignments have included courses in the areas of human resources, compensation, leadership, organizational behavior, organizational theory, and management for organizations.
