About the Bachelor of Business Administration in Management
Learn leadership skills and to think critically. As a management major at Ole Miss, you’ll also learn how to be flexible and responsive – skills required in today’s rapidly changing business world. By the time you graduate, you’ll be prepared to successfully lead all sizes of organizations from startups to large corporations in all areas including human resources, health care, and international business.

You’ll become the person that possesses a vision for a better future, and its implementations, and leads people toward it. The Management curriculum includes courses focused on the technical and soft skills needed by organizations to be successful, while still giving you space to specialize in an area that you’re interested in. Certifications Available for Management Students
Management students have the opportunity to earn various certifications through specific courses to enhance their skills and career prospects.
- Project Management Certification – Students enrolled in ENT 411: Project Management can work toward the PMI (Project Management Institute) Certification to develop essential project management skills.
- QuickBooks Certification – In ENT 356: QuickBooks, students gain hands-on experience with QuickBooks software and have the opportunity to earn a certification in financial management and bookkeeping.
- Shopify & HubSpot Certifications – In ENT 388: e-Commerce Strategy for Entrepreneurs, students participate in the Shopify Partner Academy, which includes courses such as Getting Started with Shopify and Becoming a Shopify Expert (From Zero to Hero!). Additionally, HubSpot offers an Education Partner Program to help students gain expertise in inbound marketing and customer relationship management.
- Digital Marketing Certifications – Students in ENT 386: Digital Marketing can earn the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing Certification, providing a strong foundation in online marketing strategies. In ENT 387: Digital Marketing II, students have the opportunity to complete certifications in Introduction to SEO, SEO Fundamentals, and Google Ads Search Fundamentals, equipping them with valuable search engine optimization and digital advertising skills.
These certifications provide students with industry-recognized credentials that can give them a competitive edge in the job market.
