Cecille Labuda

Associate Professor of Physics & Astronomy

Cecille Alista Labuda

Dr. Cecille Labuda is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Mississippi.

Research Interests

Dr. Labuda's research is in physical ultrasonics and complex fluids. This includes the ultrasonics properties of tissue, development of tissue-mimicking phantoms and wave propagation in complex media. Her current focus is studying the ultrasonic properties of non-newtonian fluids such as micellar fluids and other fluids that support shear waves.
