Biography
Dr. Walter joined The University of Mississippi in Fall 2019. He graduated from The University of Tulsa with his PhD in 2018. His dissertation focused on the use of Fog Computing and Self-Adaptive Systems to secure low-power, wearable devices from external threats without interruption of their functions. His work focuses on Mobile and Wearable Security, Fog Computing, Self-Adaptive Systems, Computer Science Education, Data Privacy, Adversarial Machine Learning, and Malware Detection. He has also worked with Human Trust in Code, Genetic Algorithms, and Phishing.
