Brief Bio
Holly Reynolds is Associate Dean in the College of Liberal Arts and Assistant Professor of Political Science. Dr. Reynolds earned her B.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University, and her Ph.D. in Political Science from Rice University. She joined the University of Mississippi Department of Political Science faculty in 1997 and served for 5 years as Assistant Professor. She was also one of the original faculty members with the interdisciplinary Croft Institute for International Studies. Her areas of specialization include Latin American politics, comparative elections, political parties, legislative-executive relations, and issues related to democratization. In recognition of her teaching, she was the 2000 recipient of the Cora Lee Graham Award for Teaching of Freshmen in the College. Dr. Reynolds joined the Dean?s office in the College of Liberal Arts in 2003 as Assistant Dean and was promoted to Associate Dean in 2007.
