Julio Acuna Garcia

Croft Instructional Assistant Professor of Economics

I am an applied economist interested in Development and Labor Economics. I teach for the Economics department and the Croft Institute.

Research Interests

My research answers questions at the intersection of development and labor economics. By combining causal inference methods and stylized theoretical models, my research aims to understand the causes and consequences of people’s decision to migrate and policy-relevant issues linked to development, corruption, violence, and institutions.
