Brief Bio
James M. Bos is an Associate Professor of Religious Studies. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2011 in the field of Near Eastern Studies with a focus on ancient Israel and the Hebrew Bible. He has published a book on the date and provenance of the biblical book of Hosea as well as several articles on origin and development of the prophetic books in the Hebrew Bible. Dr. Bos teaches classes on Judaism and the Bible as well as introductory courses on religion.
