Biography

Dr. Pitcock got his Doctor of Pharmacy from The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 1999 and completed a Pharmacy Practice residency at the Central Arkansas Veterans' Healthcare System in Little Rock, Arkansas the following year. He has been with the Ole Miss School of Pharmacy Department of Pharmacy Practice since June 2001. He has practiced ambulatory cared-based clinical pharmacy in diabetes, dyslipidemia, asthma, anticoagulation, and MTM/DSM in a community setting; however, his current focus is cardiology with an emphasis on heart failure at the UMMC Heart Failure Disease Management Clinic. He is a member of Rho Chi and Phi Lambda Sigma, has won an ASHP Best Practices in HealthCare Award, and been inducted into the UMMC Nelson Order and Academy for Excellence in Education.
