Biography

Dr. Kathleen P. Fuller is a Professor of Finance and the Tom B. Scott, Jr. Chair of Financial Institutions at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Fuller received her doctorate and master’s degree from Indiana University. Her primary area of research examines corporate policy decisions, specifically dividend policies and mergers and acquisitions.  Dr. Fuller has published in a number of journals including The Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Financial Management, Journal of Corporate Finance, The Financial Review, MIT/Sloan Management Review, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Journal of Financial Services Research, American Journal of Business, and Advances in Financial Economics. Dr. Fuller is currently the Secretary for the Southern Finance Association and has served as Vice President of Programs and President of the Southern Finance Association. Dr. Fuller is an Associate Editor for The Financial Review and was an Associate Editor of the Journal of Financial Research. She was awarded Outstanding Junior Researcher in 2008, Outstanding Research Paper in 2009, as well as Teacher of the Year in 2012 from the Business School at the University of Mississippi.
