Dr. Thái Hoàng Lê is an Associate Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Mississippi.
Research Interests
Dr. Lê views himself as a problem solver. He likes problems in number theory and combinatorics, especially those that involve both areas.
He works on the following:
- Number theory: additive number theory, combinatorial number theory, exponential and character sums, Diophantine approximation, function fields
- Combinatorics: arithmetic Ramsey theory, additive combinatorics, probabilistic method, polynomial method
- Fourier analysis and ergodic theory, with applications to number theory and combinatorics (e.g. ergodic Ramsey theory).
