Blake Adams
Brief Bio
Blake Adams serves as the Program Manager for the UM chapter of the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program at the School of Education. He also supports and supervises the School of Education's AmeriCorps VISTA member. A Mississippi native, he holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Mississippi. Blake has nearly twenty years of public service experience including more than a decade at the Lafayette County & Oxford Public Library where he earned two Mississippi Library Commission Public Relations Awards. He has also worked for the City of Austin Public Library. Outside of work, Blake considers himself a paraprofessional geek. His interests include IT, Photoshop, comically bad and obscure film, cooking, biking, the love of his life - Kim - their dog, Silas, and their three chickens, Thelma, Louise, and Ouiser.
