Marta Chevalier
Brief Bio
Marta Chevalier earned her B.A. in French with Minor of Psychology, and a M.A. (Magna Cum Laude) in French with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Mississippi. Ms. Chevalier has also received the Diplome Superieur d'Etudes Francaises from the Alliance Francaise de Paris, France and the Diplome Superieur d'Etudes Francaises from the Institut Francais de Porto, Portugal. Marta Chevalier is a Lecturer of French in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Mississippi, where she has been teaching since 2003. She has taught Elementary French I, Elementary French II, Second Year French I, Intermediate French I, Second Year French II, Accelerated Elementary French, and Intensive Intermediate French. She is the Instructor of French for distance learning. In addition to teaching French, Ms. Chevalier has also taught language, grammar, and cultural English courses in the Intensive English Program at the University of Mississippi. Ms. Chevalier is the Faculty Advisor for the University of Mississippi French Club. She is also the Faculty Advisor for Eclaircir: A la Decouverte du Bouquin Book Club.
