Patricia Kay Digby
Brief Bio
Patricia Digby received her BBA at the University of MS and her MSW from the University of Southern MS. She has worked in Child Welfare for 30+ years as a frontline Protection Worker, Adoption Specialist in the public sector and then in the private, non-profit sector as a Director of a Therapeutic Girls' Home. She then opened a private adoption program for children from the foster care system in conjunction with a therapeutic foster care program. She also piloted the first post adoption program for families who have adopted children with special needs, which continues in operation. She is currently serving as the Training Director for the On-going training of MS Dept. of Human Services front line staff with UM's Child Welfare Training Academy. She also serves as adjunct instructor for social work classes.
