Brief Bio
Robert W. Barnard is Professor of Philosophy. Dr. Barnard is co-editor of the Bloomsbury Companion to Metaphysics (2015) and author or co-author of numerous articles and chapters on truth, philosophical logic, and the history of analytic philosophy. Dr. Barnard is a founding member of VICTR (Virtual International Consortium for Truth Research) and is active in the American Philosophical Association, Mississippi Philosophical Association, Southern Society for Philosophy and Psychology, and the Midsouth Philosophy Conference. Dr. Barnard teaches a wide range of courses in core areas of analytic philosophy. Dr. Barnard joined the faculty of the University of Mississippi in 2000 and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Memphis and his M.A. and B.A. in philosophy from the American University in Washington D.C.
