The Department of Pharmacy Administration

at The University of Mississippi boasts one of the oldest graduate programs in the country, with a rich history spanning over 60 years. Our mission is to educate pharmacy students, graduate students, and pharmacists and to conduct research that can be translated into improvements in pharmacy practice and health outcomes.

Advocating for Administration

The pharmaceutical industry is in dire need of professionals who understand how to generate real-world evidence and have a strong understanding of how the healthcare system works. The Department of Pharmacy Administration gives you just that and a built-in family for life. This program is excellent and perfect for pharmacy students interested in the pharmaceutical industry! To have clinical training as well as real world evidence training is surprisingly rare, yet highly sought after in the pharmaceutical industry.
