Biography

Before I decided to transfer to Ole Miss, I was an involved student on my community college campus with no real idea of where I wanted to go post-graduation. During my spring semester of freshman year, I was awarded the opportunity to attend the Apex Leadership Summit and thought to myself “This will be a fun experience and good way to work on my leadership skills, but I don’t know how I feel about moving 4 hours away from home or if Ole Miss will be a good fit for me.” I was very mistaken. Through the Apex activities and living in RC South and the Luckyday Residential College, I realized Ole Miss is where I belonged. Serving as an Apex Group Leader allowed me to give back to a program that gave so much to me. It also made me realize that the University of Mississippi is a family and where I wanted and needed to be!
