Angelia Caldwell is the assistant director of the Center for Excellence in Literacy Instruction.

Biography

Angie Caldwell is currently the Assistant Director of the Center for Excellence in Literacy Instruction at the University of Mississippi. Her educational career has been dedicated to literacy and ensuring all children receive a high-quality education. She possesses a Master’s degree in Literacy Education and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. She has 15 years of experience in the area of education. She has served as an elementary teacher, literacy coach, education and training specialist, and adjunct instructor for the University of Mississippi. For the past five years, she has provided literacy technical assistance to state education agencies. Throughout her career, Angie has provided technical assistance and support to educators at the state, district, and school level in the areas of literacy, coaching, and evidence-based practices.
