Andrew Harper
Director of Media & Documentary Projects and Associate Professor of Practice
Andy Harper is the Director of the Southern Documentary Project and an Instructional Assistant Professor of Southern Studies.
Biography
Since its establishment in 2004, SouthDocs has produced dozens of short films and feature length documentaries. Andy holds a B.A. in English from Millsaps College, a M.A. in U.S. history from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a doctorate from Northern Arizona University where he studied environmental history. In addition to being a member of the Southern Studies faculty, Andy is on the core faculty for the film studies and environmental studies minors.
