Biography
Alex Sims has promoted clients’ victories in the Olympics, Super Bowl, College World Series, SEC Championships and more, driving digital marketing, social media and communications campaigns at the highest levels of college and pro sports. Alex currently serves as the associate director for content and platform marketing at Ole Miss Athletics. Prior to Ole Miss, Alex worked for Athlete Interactive, a digital branding agency for professional athletes, with clients in the NFL, NBA and more. His professional career began at Bleacher Report, where he garnered more than 10 million article reads as a national college football writer. His writing career began as an undergrad at West Virginia University for its student paper, The Daily Athenaeum. Alex graduated from WVU with a B.A. in Sport Management in 2012 and earned an M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Mississippi in 2018.
