Biography
Chip Wade, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Biomechanics within the Department of Health, Exercise Science, Recreation Management. Dr. Wade also holds an Associate Research Professor of Biomedical Engineering. Each of these appointments is at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Wade serves as the Director of the Human Movement and High-Performance Laboratory and the Co-Director of the Center for Diagnostics, Design, Device and Biomechanics at Ole Miss. He earned a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Mississippi in 2011, a Ph.D. in Biomechanics from Auburn University in 2004, a Master’s Degree in Biomechanics from the University of West Florida in 2001, and a Bachelor’s in Risk Management from the University of Georgia in 1999. Additionally, Dr. Wade completed a 2-year Post Doctoral Fellowship in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh.
