Biography
Elizabeth Sweeney is an Evaluation Associate at the Center for Research Evaluation. Her professional background includes academic publishing, K-12 and higher education, and community engagement in the realms of health, education, and workforce development. Her role at CERE allows her to continue to support advances in education, health, and wellbeing in Mississippi and beyond. She has a PhD in Education from the University of Mississippi, where she also earned Master’s and Specialist degrees in Curriculum & Instruction, as well as a BA in Religious Studies from Millsaps College. She has previously worked at the university as a graduate research assistant, instructor, and teacher intern supervisor in the School of Education, and as a publishing assistant and research associate in the Center for Population Studies.
