Grace Kaim

Grace Kaim is a Staff Assistant in the Department of History at the University of Mississippi.

Biography

Grace Kaim earned her BA in 2018 and MA in 2024 in History from the University of Mississippi. Her master's thesis was: Bigger than Bees: Victorian England’s Relationship to the Bee – Considering Symbolism and Understanding.

Alongside her work at the University, she currently serves as Head Docent for the City of Oxford's L.Q.C. Lamar House Museum and Burns-Belfry Museum and Multicultural Center, where she manages docent operations, public programming, and visitor engagement.

Grace joined the Department of History in 2024 as Staff Assistant II. Her areas of responsibility include departmental operations, graduate program administration, event planning, student services, communications, and recruitment initiatives. She coordinates major departmental events, supports current and prospective students, and works closely with faculty, staff, and academic units across campus to advance the department's academic and outreach efforts.
