Aaron Graham

Aaron Graham is Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Affiliated Faculty of Law, specializing in the philosophy of law. He also serves as the Pre-Law Advisor for the Department of Philosophy and Religion.

Research Interests

Professor Graham's primary research interest is the nature of law and adjudication, with special focus on legal reasoning and interpretation and the phenomenon of judicial discretion.

Biography

Professor Graham joined the faculty in 2023 upon completing his Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Chicago. Prior to that, he was a practicing attorney, having graduated from Harvard Law School, clerked for The Honorable Rhesa H. Barksdale of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and worked as an associate for Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP in Jackson, Mississippi.
