Biography
Biologist from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogota, Colombia). • Master’s degree in Pharmacognosy, with expertise in the isolation, identification, and cytotoxic activity evaluation of compounds derived from Copaifera langsdorffii. • PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, specializing in Pharmacognosy and Toxicology, with a research focus on the chemical characterization of Brazilian red propolis and its toxic potential through in vitro and in vivo assays. • Currently working at the University of Mississippi, conducting research on the isolation and structural characterization of secondary metabolites, primarily from plant sources.
