Jennifer Bennett

Biography

Jennifer Bennett is a seasoned educator and engineer with more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and more than a decade in secondary and career and technical education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Secondary Mathematics Education.

Currently, Jennifer is a Research Associate in the Applied Acoustics Group at the National Center for Physical Acoustics (NCPA), where she manages research proposals and compliance, and mentors undergraduate students. She also teaches engineering courses as an Adjunct Instructor in the School of Engineering.

Previously, Jennifer served as the Student Services Coordinator for Career and Technical Education (CTE) at the Oxford School District, where she addressed the academic needs of CTE students and assisted with outreach and compliance. She has also taught Industrial Technology at Mississippi State University and Engineering and Robotics at Calhoun County Career and Technical Center, where she developed STEM curricula and provided professional development for teachers.
