Dr. Joseph (Jody) Holland specializes in public policy and administration.

Biography

Dr. Holland earned his Ph.D. from Mississippi State University, focusing on Public Policy and Administration. His teaching portfolio includes a wide range of courses, covering topics from general public policy issues to more specialized areas such as food policy, economic development, nonprofit management, grant writing, and leadership development.

His approach to teaching emphasizes critical analysis and solution-oriented strategies, designed to enhance public policy implementation and leadership effectiveness. His scholarship is community-engaged, with a particular focus on leadership and organizational development in the nonprofit sector. He has played a pivotal role in securing over $4 million in grant funding and has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Holland also serves as the Executive Director of the Lafayette Oxford Foundation for Tomorrow (LOFT), a local community foundation providing grants to nonprofit organizations. Additionally, he is the founder of Holland Consulting Group, offering leadership training, policy analysis, grant writing, and organizational evaluation services to public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
