Biography
Katie Mullins is a Learning Specialist with the Center for STEM Learning at the University of Mississippi, where she supports students and staff. A native of Oxford, Mississippi, she holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education and has taught at the K–12 level in central Mississippi and Nashville, Tennessee. She is now back home in Oxford where she enjoys hiking and playing with her two young sons.
At the University of Mississippi, she has worked as a Coordinator of Professional Development, Success Coach, adjunct instructor, and Learning Specialist. She is passionate about teaching and learning and providing a stimulating and caring environment for her students. She is currently assisting in the development of integrated science courses for non-STEM majors.
