Dr. Michael Barnett is Chair & Professor of Lighting Design in the Department of Theatre & Film and the Interim Chair of the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Mississippi.
Research Interests
Dr. Barnett's areas of specialization include lighting design, sound design, computer-aided design, and history of lighting design in Europe and the US.
Biography
Dr. Barnett received his BA in College Scholars from the University of Tennessee and a MFA in Lighting Design from Florida State University. Previously, Micahel served as Assistant Professor of Theatre at Tennessee Statue University.
