His teaching interests include public speaking, sport communication, media studies, and interpersonal communication.
Biography
Dr. Williams is an Instructor of Speech Communication in the Department of Writing and Rhetoric. He holds a Ph.D. in media and communication from Bowling Green State University. His teaching experience includes public speaking, where he has supported curriculum development and instructor training, as well as interpersonal communication, and sports rhetoric. Prior to his time at The University of Mississippi, Dr. Williams spent two years as the Assistant Basic Course Director at Bowling Green State University. He has also presented research at numerous regional conferences with particular attention to how communication practices shape identity, culture, and public discourse.
