Biography

Roger Waxler is a distinguished mathematician and acoustics researcher with a diverse academic and professional background. He has served in numerous academic positions, including Research Assistant at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at E.T.H. Zurich, Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia, and Assistant Professor roles at S.U.N.Y. Buffalo and Penn State University.

Currently, Roger is a Senior Research Scientist II at the National Center for Physical Acoustics (NCPA) and a Research Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Mississippi. At NCPA, he leads the infrasound research group, focusing on the study of low-frequency acoustic waves. His contributions to the field of mathematics and acoustics have been significant, blending theoretical insight with practical applications in infrasound research.
