Dr. Safo Aboaku is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Mississippi. He is also an Associate Coordinator of Undergraduate Laboratories in the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Research Interests
Dr. Safo Aboaku has research interests in Effective Chemistry Instruction, Magnetostructural Studies of Organic Magnets, and Hydrogen Bonding.
Biography
Dr. Safo Aboaku received his undergraduate degree at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Chemistry (2000). He completed his Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2006) and then went on to complete his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2008). Dr. Safo Aboaku has been awarded the American Chemical Society Local Section Excellence in Teaching and Classroom Leadership Award.
