I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Mississippi. I also serve as an Adjunct faculty in the Nuclear Engineering and Industrial Management at the University of Idaho.

Biography
Dr. Samrat Choudhury is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Mississippi. He is also serving as an Adjunct faculty in the Nuclear Engineering and Industrial Management at the University of Idaho. Prior to joining UM, Dr. Choudhury served as a faculty at the University of Idaho and a staff scientist at the Los Alamos National Laboratory where he initially joined as a Director’s Postdoctoral Fellow in 2010. Dr. Choudhury’s expertise is in multi-length scale computational materials science and machine learning.
