Shealtiel Henson

SSgt. Shealtiel Henson is the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of Administration in the Department of Aerospace Studies at the University of Mississippi. She is responsible for managing administrative operations, personnel programs, and supporting the mission of developing of Air and Space Force officers.

Biography

Staff Sergeant Shealtiel C. Henson is the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of Administration for Detachment 430 where she provides critical leadership in cadet administration, program efficiency, and compliance with Air Force directives, directly contributing to the development of future Air Force officers.

SSgt Henson entered the Air Force in January 2019 and completed Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, in March 2019. Following this, she attended Administration Technical Training at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, graduating in May 2019. Over her six years of active-duty service, she has gained extensive expertise in personnel management, administrative support, and leadership development.

Throughout her career, SSgt Henson has supported multiple high-visibility missions, including a deployment to Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE, from July 2021 to January 2022, where she provided administrative and personnel support for Commander’s Support Staff (CSS) operations. Her expertise in personnel management and records administration ensured mission readiness and compliance with Air Force standards. Additionally, during her tenure at Beale AFB, she played a key role in supporting space and intelligence operations at the 553rd Operational Support Squadron and 7th Space Warning Squadron, directly impacting mission effectiveness through streamlined administrative processes.
