Shannon Sharp is a Senior Evaluation Associate at The University of Mississippi’s Center for Research Evaluation (CERE). With a Ph.D. in School Psychology, Shannon combines her knowledge of evaluation with practical, real-world understanding of working within school and university systems.

Biography

Shannon Sharp, Senior Evaluation Associate, has worked in program evaluation since she started at CERE in February 2017. Prior to this, she was Associate Director of The University of Mississippi’s Psychological Services Center. Sharp has extensive experience evaluating programs that focus on K-12 and higher education programs. In her role at CERE, she has evaluated projects funded by NIH, NSF, and Kellogg, among others. The majority of her projects focus on STEM training and education, college student and faculty experiences and success. Sharp earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 2003. Before joining the university, she was as a school psychologist for Walton County Public Schools in Georgia for eight years. Sharp’s research focus started in K-12 psychoeducational assessment and shifted to program evaluation as her career changed in 2017.
