Instructional Assistant Professor of Finance
Biography
Scott is an Instructional Assistant Professor of Finance. He earned his Ph.D. in finance from the University of Missouri and bachelor’s degrees in finance and math from Belmont University.
While at Ole Miss, Scott has taught Business Statistics II (BUS 302), Business Finance I (FIN 331), Financial Markets and Institutions (FIN 333), and Managerial Economics (MBA 614).
Scott’s primary area of research is in empirical corporate finance with a focus on executive compensation. He has published articles in Advances in Financial Economics. Scott also serves on the MBA committee.
