Biography
Tori Ossenheimer, CTRS, P-LPC, is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Health, Exercise Science, and Recreation Management at the University of Mississippi, where she teaches in the area of therapeutic recreation. With over a decade of experience as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), she provides students with real-world applications and a person-centered approach to care. Tori is passionate about promoting the value of recreation as a tool for healing, inclusion, and quality of life. She emphasizes experiential learning in her courses, assists with internship placement, and fosters an environment that encourages critical thinking, empathy, and professional growth.
