Xavier Sivels is an Instructor of Southern Studies and Undergraduate Student Advisor with the Center for Southern Studies.

Biography

Sivels received his Ph.D. at Mississippi State University. Broadly, his research intersects in African American history, Black queer studies, pop culture studies, and popular music studies.
