Biography
Dr. Yi Jin Kim, an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at the University of Mississippi, holds a Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. His research focuses on mental health, suicidology, and cross-cultural studies, with numerous peer-reviewed publications addressing suicide risk factors and protective factors. Dr. Kim integrates his academic expertise into teaching and mentorship, actively contributing to program development, accreditation processes, and service to the profession.
