Environmental Health and Safety

The mission of the The Environmental Health and Safety Division is to reduce the risk of illness or injury to all people at the University of Mississippi by developing, implementing, enhancing and improving programs that provide training, guidance, technical expertise and support services to all campus activities and programs, while assuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Facilities Operations

Facilities Operations delivers utility services, infrastructure support, and energy management for the University of Mississippi. The team is actively implementing advanced building automation systems, interconnected digital metering, variable frequency drives, and high-efficiency central heating and cooling systems across campus. These efforts ensure UM remains equipped to meet the demands of the 21st century.

Facilities Services

Facilities Services is committed to delivering top-quality support, including daily cleaning, event setup, vehicle fueling and maintenance, departmental relocations, and managing Facilities Management work orders. The division also oversees personnel-related services for the department, such as human resources, IT support, safety, training, and accounting.
