About the Center for Evidence-Based Policing

The Center for Evidence-Based Policing (CEBP) focuses on education, research, and training using evidence-based strategies.

  • CEBP helps students improve their skills, advances research at the university, and offers educational training for practitioners.
  • It also connects scholars worldwide to discuss evidence-based policing. CEBP is part of the Department of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies (CJLS) at the University of Mississippi.

The CJLS faculty are respected scholars and educators who address critical issues in policing.
