Online Certificate Programs
Graduate certificate programs offer an avenue for professional development, enabling students to enhance their expertise by building upon existing knowledge. Certificates can be completed in a stand-alone format which consists of 12 credit hours or as a part of a graduate degree program.
The Certificate in Emotional Disability in special education prepares teachers to be interventionist in the field of Emotional Behavior Disorders to address the needs of individual with EmD rulings.
Upon completion of the certificate, teachers are prepared to assess, analyze and problem solve the challenges of learning for students with emotional & behavioral disorders and their families, focusing on the objective of providing effective teaching practices, behavioral supports, and instructional strategies.
The Gifted Certificate is designed to prepare educators with the knowledge base and competencies necessary for the appropriate education of gifted and talented learners.
Upon completion of this program, students will have received specialized strategies and resources to effectively nurture the unique talents and abilities of gifted students in the classroom.
The Certificate in Early Childhood and Family Policy is designed for those committed to working on behalf of young children and their families domestically and internationally.
This certificate is ideal for those working in early childhood centers, elementary schools, social work, public health, public affairs, or political science.
