The Slingshot Challenge

The Slingshot Challenge is an international competition for youth ages 13–18 sponsored by the National Geographic Society (NGS) and Allen Family Philanthropies (AFP). Its purpose is to empower and encourage the next generation of environmental leaders, innovators, and advocates. Through the challenge, young people are given the opportunity to use their creativity and ideas to develop solutions that address environmental problems and make a positive impact on the planet.
