Digital Accessibility

Everyone at the University of Mississippi plays a part in creating a more accessible digital world. The Digital Accessibility team offers tools and support to help you design, share, and maintain content that’s inclusive to all users.

Working Together for an Accessible University

As a public state university, the University of Mississippi is required to comply with the Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act digital accessibility regulation that requires compliance on or before April 2026. This federal regulation requires that all digital content, whether posted on a website, on social media, in Blackboard, or otherwise shared widely, be accessible to all, and the responsibility to provide accessible content is shared by each of us at the university.

University of Mississippi Digital Accessibility provides support to faculty, staff, and students to ensure compliance with accessibility laws, policies and regulations and to create a more accessible and inclusive digital environment at the University of Mississippi.
