TriBeta is the National Biological Honor Society. This society is particularly for undergrad students and is dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.

The purpose of Clinical Experience Network organization is to provide students interested in going into a healthcare career the opportunity to gain clinical experience through volunteering and shadowing opportunities. The organization hopes to provide the opportunities to students who need the exposure to a clinical setting before applying to their respective postgraduate program.

University of Mississippi Minority Association of Successful Scientists will run and extend the mission to diversify the biomedical field by providing unique and focused both scientific and professional development opportunities. ACR also serves as a promotion for the University of Missisisppi Biomolecular Sciences Affinity Groups. ACR is an extension of the Biomolecular Students Association (BSA) within the department of Biomolecular Sciences School of Pharmacy.

The purpose of the Ole Miss Smile Makers student organization shall be to advocate and fundraise for the international non-profit organization “Smile Train.” Smile Train is a children’s charity that provides 100% cost free cleft repair surgery and cleft care to children born with cleft lips in over 85 countries. In addition to this international organization, we will be participating in community enrichment events in the Oxford area to vocalize the importance of dental and oral self-care. We encourage anyone with a desire to work in a medical related field or with a passion for service to join Ole Miss Smile Makers and help us make a difference.

The Ole Miss Pre-Dental Society is a student organization for those students who have interest in pursuing a career in the dental field. By joining this organization, students will have the opportunity to meet other pre-dental students, gain insight on applying to dental school, acquire information about the field of dentistry, and participate in community service projects geared toward oral health.

PPMO is an organization that helps undergraduate students begin their journey to medical early with the help of an upperclassman mentor. Meetings with your mentor will be held once a month and will discuss a variety of topics that will help students navigate towards a successful medical career.

The National Society of Black Women in Medicine is dedicated to preserving and cultivating the representation of minority women in medicine and scientific disciplines.

Join the AMWA Undergraduate Student Division to work alongside other students, physicians, scientists, and leaders in medicine to advocate for the needs and rights of women in healthcare and female patients. Membership benefits include scholarship opportunities, mentoring by medical students and physicians, resources for learning more about medical school and life in the healthcare profession, and leadership opportunities. Members have the opportunity to meet and work with leaders in medicine who can offer priceless advice and serve as invaluable resources for not just the rest of your education, but for a lifetime.
