Reasonable Accommodation Requests

The EORC coordinates response to requests for accommodation or employment modification by employees.

What are reasonable accommodations?

A reasonable accommodation is a change to a job, work environment, or hiring process that helps individuals with disabilities have equal opportunities to get hired and perform their job tasks effectively.

If an employee has a disability and requires an accommodation, the University of Mississippi is obligated to provide it unless doing so would cause undue hardship, according to the ADA.
