Aquatics Program Offerings
Lifeguard Certification & Recertification Courses
Earn an American Red Cross lifeguard certification or recertification! This course is designed to ensure that you are properly trained and prepared in the event of a water emergency.
Swim 101
Looking to learn how to swim? Swim 101 is the program for you! Every Tuesday throughout the school year, learn the basics of water safety and how to swim with our swim lesson instructors. Faculty/staff and student sessions available.
Water Workouts
Get your fitness on in the water by joining our water workout classes offered weekly. These group workouts are 30 minutes and offer a variety of movements to get your heart rate up, increase mobility, and provide a joint-friendly way to strengthen your muscles.
Pool Accessibility
The pool has entry and exit points at various locations. There is an ADA Step System available for patron use in the shallow end of the facility. To enter and exit other areas of the pool, we have a portable chair lift that can be used. The aquatics staff will help anyone requesting assistance.
Group Reservations
Interested in reserving the Turner Center Natatorium for your group?
Whether you’re with the university or you’re part of the Oxford community, you can submit a reservation for your group! Base reservation flat fees range from $10 to $25, additional staffing, usage, service, and equipment fees may also apply.
