South Campus Rail Trail
The South Campus Rail Trail is an old gravel railroad bed located just south of Highway 6 and just west of Chucky Mullins Drive. The marked rail bed trail is 5 miles round trip, 2.5 miles out and 2.5 miles back with mile markers every .5 miles.

Single Track Trails
The South Campus Rail Trail is also home to over 20 miles of single track trails! The local bike club, Oxford Cycling maintains the single track bike trails that connect to the main rail-bed trail.

Gear Rental
Outdoors is the place to visit to rent gear for a camping, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, bouldering, canoeing, or kayaking trip.

If you are not a current student, faculty, or staff member choose “Local Account” and then login if you’ve already created an account or “create one” if it’s your first time.
Rented gear can be picked up and dropped off at the Outdoors Office during operating hours. Contact us at 662-915-6735 or omod@olemiss.edu if you have trouble creating an account or have any questions.
