Sport Management Programs: Updated and Better than Ever
We’ve updated two of our programs to help our students get the most out of their education. Learn more about our new programs below.
Sport Management Replaces Sport and Recreation Administration
The Department of Health, Exercise Science, and Recreation Management recently updated two of its programs: the Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Recreation Administration and the Master of Science in Sports and Recreation Administration.
- The Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Recreation Administration is now the Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management. This change will go into effect in the fall of 2025.
- The Master of Science in Sports and Recreation is now the Master of Science in Sport Management. This change will go into effect in the spring of 2025.
These changes aren’t just in name only, they actually cover a number of items about the programs, including required coursework. These changes may be confusing for students that first enrolled in the Sports and Recreation Administration (either undergraduate or graduate programs) before the new changes had taken place.
