Visitors
As a guest of the University of Mississippi it is our hope that your parking experience is a pleasant one. All vehicles parked on the university campus are required to have a University parking permit of some type: Monday thru Friday 7:30AM to 5:00 PM. As a visitor, there are several options when it comes to purchasing your visitor permit for your vehicle.

Special Parking Accommodations (ADA/Handicap/Medical)
If any faculty, staff, or student requires special parking accommodations due to a medical condition, they may apply for a state-issued handicap hangtag. This will help facilitate parking campus.

Pavilion Garage
Reserved Parking Spaces by Stall Number
Faculty/Staff and Commuters are eligible to purchase a limited supply of permits for the Pavilion Garage. Permits are space specific and the space is considered a reserve spot for the vehicle with the appropriate permit. At the start of every permit sale for an academic year, Faculty/Staff will be given two weeks to choose the Pavilion Garage permits prior to them being offered to students classified as commuters.

Carpooling at Ole Miss
To expand options and help reduce traffic and congestion on campus, DPT offers carpooling spaces to all faculty, staff, commuters and visitors.*
To date, there are signed spaces around campus that are designated as carpool spaces only. Carpooling is defined as two or more occupants riding in and exiting from the same vehicle after parking in one of the carpool spaces. Enforcement of the carpooling policy is conducted by using data from a video camera focused on the carpool spaces.
*A current UM permit is required. Residential and Overflow Residential permits are not accepted at this time.
