Aleta Lynn Crawford

Biography

Aleta Crawford is an Instructor of Management on the Tupelo Campus, earning her Doctorate in Strategic Management from Mississippi State University. She teaches students on the Tupelo, Booneville, Grenada, and Southaven campuses. Her field of expertise includes leadership and identifying pedagogical methods that make learning meaningful and contextually relevant.

Crawford has previously served on strategic leadership teams and executive boards of public and private school systems, local governments, and various church and civic organizations.

She has presented professional development workshops at the Academy of Management and other professional institutions, lending her expertise as it relates to the role, impact, and influence of underrepresented faculty in business schools across the United States.

Her research interests include identifying innovative approaches to pedagogy that lead to academic excellence, professional and personal development, and the acquisition of individual skill sets that contribute to the competitive advantage of organizations.
